HOB looks back on 2 exciting days (March 31 – April 1, 2014)in Australia! At the beginning of this week, we attended the F5 Agility partner and customer conference in Queensland, Australia.
F5 Agility is an invitation-only technology summit that addresses the massive transformations going on in the IT world. This year’s most discussed topics were “Security”, “Cloud” and “Mobility”. Attended by C-level executives, IT managers and IT security heads, the industries represented at this event include healthcare, automotive, retail, service providers, government and more.
As an F5 partner and gold sponsor at the event, we have been showing several live demos of products and had several interesting discussions with attendees. The highlight of our attendance was the presentation of HOBLink JWT for F5 BIG-IP Access Policy Manager, which is the result of a technology partnership with F5. HOBLink JWT is a scalable solution that provides all F5 BIG-IP Access Policy Manager (APM) users a Remote Desktop Client that enables communication with Microsoft Windows Terminal Server with Remote Desktop Services.
HOB’s proprietary Remote Desktop Protocol is platform-independent and requires no client-side installation, reducing IT administration efforts and total cost of ownership. This purely software-based solution allows enterprises to leverage existing physical and virtual IT infrastructure investments while ensuring security.
You couldn’t make it to Australia? No worries! To learn more about the HOB and F5 partnership and HOBLink JWT you can just visit the combined solution website. Here you will also find the product data sheet and configuration guide.
Or you can come visit us at one of the next F5 Agility events. HOB will be attending the events in Copenhagen (June 17 – 18) and New York (August 04 – 06). See you there, your HOB team!
