Can’t get no satisfaction?
Well, the industry buzz is now all about the scarcity of specialists. Views about the extent of such an outlook in the future are on fire in the media right now. Opinions vary from “great magnitude” to “barely noticeable.“ Independent of that, one has to say: to keep their competitive ability, companies most of all need qualified and highly motivated employees, ones who stay at the company long-term and work effectively and productively.
At the same time, there is the trend that, mostly, the young generation has quite different expectations of their future employers than the past generation had 10 years ago. For example, mobile and flexible workplaces remain at the very top of their wish lists.
